Her campus

A magazine for young women, by women.

Her Campus was essentially how I got into writing and creating content.

Invited to join the Tampa chapter by whim, I quickly became a contributor, writing articles about my experiences as a student and woman of color in a predominantly white institution, as well as articles about the entertainment and culture shaping us as women.

After a year as a contributor, I joined the executive board at my school's chapter as the Events Coordinator, putting together workshops and social events for our 25+ members. Furthermore, I joined Her Campus's national Campus Trendsetter program, where upon selected by the brand, I was given products to create sponsored content for. Under this program, I created social media posts for Neutrogena, Skintimate, Garnier and more. This opportunity not only allowed me to improve my social media marketing and management skills, but also taught me the ins and outs' of influencer marketing.
