Documentaries

Given the opportunity to travel to Thailand to create a documentary for my school, my team and I focused our assignment on the Free Bird Cafe/ Thai Freedom House, an initiative created to answer the growing problem of Burmese and Myanmar refugees in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our documentary focuses solely on the bamboo straw business created by one of the teachers under the learning program at Free Bird Cafe.

When my close friend asked me to help her create a film on the cultural taboo of mental health problems in the Caribbean community, I knew this was a project I wanted to get creative with. We submitted this project to the Campus Movie Festival, resulting as a Campus Finalist.
